That's according to research by British psychologist  Geofferey Beattie, who says our feet are fascinating channel of non-verbal communication. They can reveal a great deal about our personality, what we think of the person we're talking to and even our emotional and psychological state. Liars, it seems, keep their feet unnaturally still. Feeling anxious? Men apparently show their nerves by increasing their foot movement while women somehow manage to inhibit the action. Hmm..
